Happy Halloween! We had a fun and busy Halloween. The boys got lots of candy (Tristan couldn't carry his pumpkin because it was too heavy). Drake came home from school at lunch to get ready for the school carnival. While he was home we carved our pumpkins and got his costume on. He went as a ninja.
Tristan went as Woody, from Toy Story. After school Drake had swim team, and then as soon as that was over we ran home and got ready to go trick or treating at the mall. The Chubbuck Police had their trunk or treating at the mall this year so we hit 2 things at once. There were lots and lots of people there, but the kids got lots of candy. After hitting the mall we headed to my parents neighborhood. The kids went up and down my parent's street and the one next to it. Then they said their feet hurt so we headed home. We hit our neighbors and then went to the apartments next door as well. At one store in the mall the store associate was dressed as Chewbacca, and we just had to get a picture. My nephew Austin was dressed as Buzz Lightyear, and my neice Katelyn was a really cute lamb. The kids had lots of fun...and now I just have to make sure they don't eat too much candy.
